These terms apply to all carpet cleaning services, including standard carpet washing, stain treatment, deodorising, upholstery-adjacent surface work where agreed, and any related cleaning tasks accepted at the time of booking. If any service is requested outside the normal scope of carpet care, we may confirm additional conditions before work begins. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe the required work is unsafe, impractical, unlawful, or outside our operational capability.

All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance. We may ask for details such as the number of rooms, type of flooring, level of soiling, access restrictions, parking considerations, and whether furniture movement is needed. Accurate information helps us allocate appropriate time, equipment, and staff. If the information provided is incomplete or misleading, the final price or duration may need to be revised.

Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated at booking or on the invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, payment must be made on completion of the work on the same day. We may accept cash, card, bank transfer, or another agreed method, but we are not obliged to provide every payment option for every appointment. Where payment is made by bank transfer, funds must clear within the required timeframe. If furniture movement is requested, it is at the customer’s risk unless the damage is caused by our negligence. Liability for loss or damage is limited to direct loss caused by our proven negligence, breach of contract, or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those legal limits, we are not liable for pre-existing defects, weak fibres, colour loss caused by prior treatment, shrinkage due to inherent material characteristics, or damage caused by hidden faults in the carpet or underlying floor.

If you decline a test patch or instruct us to continue against our advice, the risk of resulting change in appearance may rest with you, except where the loss is caused by our negligence. We may refuse to handle biological waste, chemicals, sharp objects, needles, or any material we consider unsafe or regulated.

Any waste, rubbish, packaging, damaged items, or contaminated materials already present at the property remain the customer’s responsibility unless included in the agreed scope of work. If the service creates waste that must be removed from site, we may charge an additional fee where this is a separately requested or unusually time-consuming task. Customers are responsible for ensuring that any items left for disposal do not breach environmental, safety, or transport laws. We will not knowingly participate in unlawful disposal or misrepresentation of waste origin.

From time to time, we may need to vary the method of service delivery to reflect site conditions, equipment availability, or product suitability. Such variations do not amount to a breach if they are reasonable and do not materially reduce the overall standard of service. We may also subcontract some or all of the work to competent third parties, provided they operate under standards aligned with these terms. You agree to ensure the premises are safe for our attendance and that no hidden hazards are left unreported. If an unsafe condition is identified, we may pause or stop work until it is resolved. In severe cases, we may cancel the appointment and charge for time already spent, travel, or other reasonable losses arising from the unsafe environment.

We will use such information only for legitimate business purposes connected to the service, payment, record keeping, and legal compliance. We will not sell personal information. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer where services are purchased for personal use. If you believe the service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, you should notify us within a reasonable time so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as a re-clean, partial refund, or other suitable resolution. Any remedy will depend on the facts, the condition of the carpet, and whether the issue was caused by our performance or by pre-existing circumstances outside our control.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the services, the booking, or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless another forum is required by law. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. No waiver of any breach will operate as a waiver of any later breach.

The agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties in relation to the service booked, unless varied in writing or by clear recorded agreement.
